Every release, newest first. The app tells you itself when there is one.
Version 1.9.774
First release of Ham Email. A stand-alone desktop mail client for ham radio operators on macOS, Windows (64-bit and 32-bit) and Linux (x64 and ARM), from the people behind Ham Browser and QSL World.
Any mailbox. Gmail with an app password, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, Fastmail, Zoho, Purelymail, or any other IMAP and SMTP host, with the servers worked out from the address.
Your callsign as your address. Choose name@CALLSIGN.com and its ending inside the app, pay for QSL World Pro Max in a private checkout window, and the domain, station page and mailbox are set up and added for you. Callsign domains you already have, through Pro Max or QTH Page, are listed and can be added or have their password reset.
Passwords the mail service accepts. A new mailbox password is checked with the mail service as you type, with a suggested strong password one click away.
On your computer. Mail kept in a local database, the password encrypted on this machine and sent only to your provider over TLS. Remote images blocked until you ask. Sender photos from Gravatar, switchable off.
For operators. Callsigns recognized in senders with a one-click lookup; conversations; several mailboxes; drafts; search across people, subjects, bodies and attachment names, plus search all mail on the server.
Writing assist. With your own API key, or a free metered tier with a QSL World profile.
Menu-bar app with a dock badge and notifications for new mail.
Your default mail app. File, Make Ham Email the Default Mail App; on Windows it is listed under Settings, Default apps, Email.
Updates in plain sight. A new version shows in the sidebar with a download button, and Help, Check for Updates asks at any time.
